Biogas DigestateTreatment Plant
SOLID FRACTION
By separating the digestate using the SEPCOM Screw Press Separator (750μm mesh), an excellent soil conditioner is obtained that can be applied in the field at any time of the year and is also suitable for use in greenhouses.
GREEN BEDDING
By separating the digestate using the SEPCOM Bedding Separator, a natural solid product is obtained that can be used as bedding, effectively replacing straw and sand.
DENSE FRACTION
By thickening the digestate with the SEPCOM MFT Separator, a concentrate with high NPK levels is obtained, suitable as a natural fertiliser for field areas with low carbon content.
LIQUID FRACTION
Through micro-filtration of the digestate using the patented MFT Micro-filter (25μm mesh), a liquid fraction rich in ammoniacal nitrogen is obtained, which can be applied in the field via drip irrigation after dilution with water. (to learn more, read the Digestate 100 Project).
